Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a well-established structural steel contractor based in Northampton, delivering large-scale projects across the UK. Due to continued workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Structural Steel Welder to join their fabrication team.
This role would suit a welder with a solid background in structural steel fabrication and site-ready workmanship standards.
The Role:
- MIG welding of structural steel components
- Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
- Welding beams, columns, frames, and associated steelwork
- Ensuring welds meet quality and industry standards
- Working within a busy fabrication workshop environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in structural steel MIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Strong understanding of welding quality standards
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-focused
- Previous workshop-based structural experience preferred
