Operations & Events Manager – Hidden Garden, Warrenpoint

Hidden Garden is a growing outdoor wellness and events venue in Warrenpoint, and we’re looking for an experienced Operations & Events Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who enjoys managing people, delivering excellent customer experiences and making sure a busy venue runs smoothly.
Alongside daily operations, you’ll help manage and grow our corporate events, private hire, group bookings and seasonal events.
The role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of Hidden Garden
- Leading, motivating and managing the team
- Staff rotas, training and performance
- Maintaining excellent standards across the venue
- Managing customer queries and resolving issues
- Overseeing bookings and ensuring smooth customer experiences
- Managing corporate events, private hire and group bookings from enquiry through to delivery
- Coordinating staff, suppliers and partners for events
- Helping develop new event packages and experiences
- Supporting the growth of event and group-booking revenue
- Working closely with the owners on the continued growth of Hidden Garden
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous management experience in hospitality, leisure, retail, events or another customer-facing environment
- Is confident managing and developing a team
- Is highly organised and comfortable taking responsibility
- Can make decisions and solve problems without needing constant direction
- Has excellent customer-service standards
- Is commercially minded and understands the importance of sales and revenue
- Is comfortable working in a fast-growing independent business
- Is willing to be hands-on when required
- Can work some evenings and weekends as part of the role
Previous events experience would be a strong advantage, but we’re equally interested in experienced operational managers who have the skills and ambition to develop this side of the role.

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience, with the potential for performance-related incentives.
