Responsibilities
- Conduct regular mobile patrols of assigned sites to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
- Utilize CCTV systems to observe and review surveillance footage, identifying potential threats or irregularities
- Implement loss prevention strategies by inspecting premises for theft or vandalism and deterring unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to security alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as needed
- Perform routine inspections of access points, fences, gates, and security equipment to ensure operational integrity
- Complete detailed reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
- Assist with first aid procedures when necessary, providing support until emergency responders arrive
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to prevent theft and reduce shrinkage
- Ability to conduct thorough inspections and maintain high attention to detail during patrols
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally
- Basic first aid certification to provide initial assistance in emergencies
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform continuous patrols on foot or in a vehicle
- Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures

We operate a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, availabilty to cover staff absence a bonus.
MUST HOLD A VALID SIA LICENCE AND BE OVER 25 YEARS OF AGE FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.
Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
