We are looking for a friendly, outgoing person to work in our family-run Pick and Mix business. The shop is in the centre of Brighton’s North Laine and has been established for over 38 years.
The successful candidate will be required to work every Saturday (7.5 hours).
This is a part time job and NOT a seasonal job.........please DO NOT apply if you are looking for seasonal work.
In addition to standard shifts, the successful candidates will be required to cover additional shifts (holiday cover and busy seasonal periods) which may occasional be on a weekday.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, reliable and be required to open and close the shop, so experience of such routines would be advantageous.
The role involves:
- Advising & serving customers
- Working on the till
- Ensuring stock levels are well maintained
- Providing customers with information on pricing, products, and allergies
- Cleaning
- Cashing up
- Opening and closing of the shop
- Handling credit/debit card and cash transactions
- Fulfilling internet orders
The successful candidate must be:

The candidate will ideally have experience in a customer-facing retail environment.
Full training will be given.
