Water Treatment Engineer – Static Site
Location: Kings Cross, London
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday
Type: Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join an established facilities team working on a static site near Kings Cross.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in water treatment, water hygiene or mechanical services, ideally with some plumbing knowledge or experience, looking for a stable, long-term role within a commercial environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive water treatment and associated maintenance across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Water treatment and water hygiene duties
- Monitoring and maintaining water systems
- Sampling and testing water systems
- Identifying and reporting issues or faults
- Supporting general mechanical and plumbing maintenance where required
- Completing maintenance records and reports
- Working alongside the wider engineering and facilities team
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with relevant procedures
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in water treatment, water hygiene or a related mechanical environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within water treatment or water hygiene
- Good knowledge of commercial water systems
- Plumbing knowledge or hands-on plumbing experience would be highly advantageous
- Relevant water treatment qualifications
- Strong PPM and maintenance experience
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
Candidates from a plumbing, mechanical or facilities maintenance background with relevant water treatment experience will also be considered.
