An Talla is a cafe and retail destination on the banks of the Caledonian Canal at Dochgarroch Lock - 3 miles South of Inverness. An Talla - working alongside the 5* visitor experience, Loch Ness by Jacobite - serves fresh, made-to-order food in a busy and modern visitor center. We are looking for a cafe assistant who will enjoy working in a unique visitor attraction.
This position is full-time (Seasonal), 30-40 hours between 8:30am - 5pm over 4-5 days, with the possibility to become permanent.
The Role:
- Greeting customers and serving them delicious food from the busy kitchen
- Clearing and cleaning tables
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
- Ensuring our customers enjoy their 5* visitor experience
- Accurately processing orders through the till
Person Specification:
- Experience preferred in a similar role although training will be provided
- Customer focused, friendly outlook striving to provide the best of the best in customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- Happy to work as part of a busy team
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a busy environment
