Storth Ltd is a long established and expanding family-owned business manufacturing slurry handling equipment for the agricultural sector in the UK and beyond.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining manufacturing machinery to ensure production targets, quality standards and health and safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where necessary to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance tasks.
- Identify and report faults, breakdowns, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but full training will be given.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
