About Us:
B&K Hume Groundworks Ltd is a well-established, family-run groundworks business based in Greenlaw. We undertake a wide range of groundworks and civil engineering projects throughout the South of Scotland, including the Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, the Lothians, and surrounding areas.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced 360 Plant Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our own plant on a variety of construction, groundworks, and civil engineering sites across the Scottish Borders & surrounding areas. You will be expected to work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while supporting site operations as required.
This role suits a reliable and experienced operator who can work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators.
- Valid CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent plant operator certification.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with site managers and groundworkers.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working on a variety of projects.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Ability to carry out basic daily machine checks and maintenance.
