Ward M1 is a medical ward for the elderly with a bed capacity of 30 and 10 escalation bed. We are looking for a staff nurse who is passionate, conscientious and motivated to make a difference.

As a Band 5 Staff Nurse on M1, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate, person-centred care to older adults with complex medical, frailty and dementia-related needs.
You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, recognising and responding to clinical deterioration, administering medicines safely and working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
You will contribute to discharge planning from admission, support rehabilitation and deconditioning initiatives, promote patient independence and ensure care is delivered in line with Trust policies, professional standards and evidence-based practice.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse who is committed to continuous learning, quality improvement and providing outstanding care. You will be supported through regular supervision, opportunities for professional development and encouraged to contribute ideas that improve patient experience and ward practice.
