Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Marwood Residential Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care that aligns with our mission to provide compassionate support to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Ensure residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and resident progress.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Lead by example in adhering to health and safety standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services.
- Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence whenever possible.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior care or similar roles within a care home setting.
- Strong leadership and supervising skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans.
- Knowledge of IT systems used in healthcare settings is advantageous.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to improve residents' quality of life.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
