National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Risk Process Manager to join our Enhancements team in Major Projects. As a Risk Process Manager, you will ensure risk management maturity and efficiency increases so all delivery teams benefit from process and systems, efficiencies, automation, IT software, and lessons learned.
This Risk Process Manager will also lead the risk team in increasing automation, achieving consistency and enabling all delivery teams minimise administration and focus on risk management activity.
Key activities include:
- Leading and co-ordinating the development and roll out of improved training both virtual and live for all aspects of risk management and the use of risk systems and associated tools e.g. riskHive, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Self Checker tools.
- Supporting ad-hoc projects to improve divisional risk maturity.
- Collaborating with MP systems, Heads of Risk and other division to share best practice and contribute to initiatives to improve risk lessons learned, risk maturity assessment, training and system usage.
- Developing division-wide risk reporting analysis to support programme risk prioritisation.
- Supporting divisional reporting and reporting continuous improvement development and implantation.
- Supporting Enhancements Risk Managers as and when needed, including deputising for them when on holiday.
About you
- Extensive experience of delivering systems automation and process improvement initiatives and projects across an organisation with a proven track record of leading changes and delivering results.
- Experience of change programmes specific to embedding and maintaining risk management processes, tools, systems and people capability.
- Experience of capturing, analysing and reporting quantitative and qualitative risk management data both at a project and divisional level.
- Excellent track record of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders and evidence of skills to influence relationships for positive outcomes

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
