A well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Asbestos Bulk Laboratory Analyst to join its laboratory team in Worthing. The position is focused on bulk asbestos analysis within a professional UKAS-accredited laboratory environment.

The Role
- Analysing bulk samples for the presence of asbestos-containing materials
- Carrying out analysis in accordance with HSG248 and UKAS procedures
- Accurately recording and reporting analytical results
- Maintaining high standards of quality control and laboratory compliance
- Ensuring samples are processed accurately and within required turnaround times
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and completing relevant quality checks
- Supporting the wider laboratory team with day-to-day operations
About You
- BOHS P401 - Identification of Asbestos in Bulk Samples (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst
- Experience working within a UKAS-accredited laboratory environment preferred
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a laboratory team
