About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Every day is different, and your support will have a meaningful impact on the lives of those you care for.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting clients with mobility and helping them remain safe and comfortable in their homes.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration needs.
- Administering medication in accordance with care plans and company procedures.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a client's health or wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with the wider care team.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing.
- Supporting clients to attend appointments, social activities, and community outings.
What We're Looking For
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.
- The ability to work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
- Basic IT skills to complete electronic care records.
- Previous experience in domiciliary care is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
