Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting frequently touched surfaces and ensuring waste is properly disposed of.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to complete daily tasks.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers safely.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
