We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Lincoln Carlton Academy. You will support pupils with a range of needs, working both one-to-one and with small groups, to promote learning, development, and independence.
Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and support the delivery of engaging classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning activities, including preparation of resources and classroom organisation

Work with individual pupils and small groups, including those with special educational needs

Promote pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development

Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teachers as required

Assist with the delivery of literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum initiatives

Support behaviour management in line with school policies

Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

Provide basic first aid and support personal care needs where required

Assist with movement around the school and supervision of pupils
