KITCHEN PORTER @ Bar Douro
Hours will be allocated between London Bridge and City restaurants.
This is a full time role and candidates must be available to work a minimum of 35 hours per week
Pay: Up to £14.71 p/hour + monthly surplus service charge from tronc bonus scheme
The Restaurant
Bar Douro was created as a way to bring authentic Portuguese food to London. The menu is designed using fresh seasonal produce and focuses on highlighting the best flavours and techniques that Portugal brings to the gastronomic world. It boasts the largest Portuguese wine list in London importing regional wines from boutique producers. Bar Douro’ s service style is both attentive and informal and the open kitchen adds theatre and intimacy.
About the role:
When the kitchen is under pressure, teamwork becomes crucial. You will need to work seamlessly with the rest of the team, including chefs, other porters and service staff, to ensure smooth workflow in the kitchen. Being able to prioritize your tasks effectively and accomplish them in a timely manner. The role will require flexibility, as you will work to support both locations.
