You’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support needs to live fulfilling and independent lives.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

THE ROLE
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide practical and emotional support that helps people live safely, confidently and as independently as possible.
You’ll work as part of a supportive team, building positive relationships with the people you support and providing consistent, person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting people with daily routines and independent living skills
- Encouraging community participation and meaningful activities
- Supporting people to attend appointments and access the community
- Providing emotional and practical support
- Supporting with personal care where required
- Administering and recording medication safely
- Completing accurate care records and daily notes
- Following care plans, risk assessments and positive behaviour support strategies
- Recognising and reporting changes in wellbeing or support needs
- Working closely with colleagues and other professionals
- Promoting dignity, choice, independence and inclusion
ABOUT YOU
We’d like to hear from you if you:
- Have previous experience working in care or support
- Have experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs or complex support needs
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Are confident providing person-centred support
- Are calm, reliable and able to work well under pressure
- Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
- Are compassionate and committed to providing high-quality care
- Have the right to work in the UK
Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Mental Health Support Worker, Autism Support Worker or Learning Disability Support Worker may be relevant.
SHIFT PATTERN
This is a permanent, full-time position with approximately 40 hours per week available.
Shifts include a mixture of early shifts, late shifts, long days and weekends. Some opportunities may also include waking nights.
Working patterns will be discussed during the recruitment process so we can understand your availability and suitability for the service.
