Keco Energy is a North West-based MCS-accredited renewable energy contractor, specialising in the design and installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump systems.

With an outstanding reputation for customer service, technical expertise and quality workmanship, we're continuing to expand our domestic Solar PV division and are looking for an ambitious Solar PV Sales Consultant to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Solar PV Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for meeting homeowners, understanding their energy requirements and recommending tailored renewable energy solutions that deliver long-term value.
Working from qualified enquiries and self-generated leads, you'll guide customers through the entire sales journey, from the initial consultation and system design through to quotation, contract and installation handover.
This is a consultative sales role focused on building trust and delivering exceptional customer experiences rather than high-pressure sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home consultations with prospective customers.
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable Solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Explain the financial, environmental and practical benefits of renewable energy technologies.
- Prepare and present professional quotations and proposals.
- Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed installations.
- Generate additional business through referrals, networking and local business development.
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with our design and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the company CRM system.
- Represent Keco Energy professionally and uphold our reputation for outstanding customer service.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic, personable and motivated individual who enjoys meeting people and helping customers make informed decisions.
You'll have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in a simple and engaging way.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within a sales or customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A consultative approach with a strong customer focus.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience selling Solar PV, battery storage or renewable energy systems.
- Knowledge of domestic electrical installations.
- Experience using remote survey or proposal software.
- Understanding of MCS standards and renewable energy technologies.
- Experience working within the home improvement or construction sectors.
