We're working with a highly regarded accountancy practice in Trowbridge that's continuing to grow and is looking for an experienced Client Manager to join the team.
It's a senior, client-facing position where you'll work closely with Partners while taking ownership of your portfolio. Alongside overseeing compliance, you'll have the opportunity to become genuinely involved in your clients' businesses and provide valuable commercial advice.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of business and individual clients
- Reviewing statutory accounts, tax returns and other compliance work
- Acting as a key point of contact and handling client queries
- Providing proactive accountancy, tax and business advice
- Identifying tax planning and wider advisory opportunities
- Managing deadlines, workflow and client expectations
- Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members
- Working closely with Partners on more complex client matters
About You
Ideally, you'll be ACA/ACCA qualified with previous experience managing clients within a UK accountancy practice. You'll be comfortable reviewing accounts and tax work and, importantly, enjoy building relationships and providing advice beyond the year-end compliance cycle.
