Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Man with the Van Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, furniture, and other items to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate a van or small truck to transport goods, furniture, or equipment to designated locations
- Load and unload items efficiently, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet scheduled deadlines
- Communicate clearly with clients, warehouse staff, and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe transportation at all times
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or organizing shipments when needed
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent license suitable for commercial driving
- Experience in commercial driving, including navigating urban and rural routes
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics operations is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety procedures related to driving large vehicles
