We are looking for an experienced Patient Catering Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality patient meal services within a busy hospital environment in Tooting.
This is an exciting opportunity for a catering professional with strong healthcare, food safety, and people management experience. Working closely with NHS stakeholders, you will ensure patients receive safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of patient catering services.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, allergen management, and NHS food standards.

Monitor food quality, temperature controls, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

Drive excellent patient satisfaction through efficient and consistent meal service delivery.

Recruit, train, develop, and motivate catering teams.

Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS clients and key stakeholders.

Manage staffing levels, resources, and rotas to support service delivery.

Control food, labour, and operational costs to achieve financial targets.

Ensure all health & safety, infection prevention, and company compliance standards are met.
About You

Previous management experience within healthcare, hospital catering, or large-scale catering operations.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene regulations, allergen management, and compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership and team development skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and KPIs.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
