About the Role
Colormarket UK is expanding into the wood coatings & finishes sector, and we’re looking for a motivated Technical Sales Executive to help grow this new division. This role combines technical understanding with relationship‑building, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers across manufacturing, joinery, spray shops, and finishing environments.
You’ll be responsible for developing new business, supporting existing customers, and providing product knowledge and demonstrations where required.
Duties
- Develop new business across the wood coatings and finishing sector
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct on‑site visits, product demonstrations, and technical support
- Build strong relationships with spray shops, manufacturers, and distributors
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable coating solutions
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and customer interactions
- Work closely with the leadership team to support the growth of the new division
Qualifications
- Experience in
- wood coatings, industrial coatings, automotive refinishing, decorative coatings, or similar technical environments
- Confidence in speaking with customers and building long‑term relationships
- Ability to understand product features and explain them clearly
- Self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence
