What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on handyman to join our growing coffee business. This is a varied role supporting our coffee shops by ensuring they are always safe, well-maintained and operating at their best.You'll be responsible for carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance and responding quickly to issues that arise across our stores. From fixing doors and replacing fixtures to assembling equipment and carrying out general maintenance, you'll play a key role in keeping our cafés looking and functioning to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across all coffee shop locations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store teams.
- Diagnose faults and repair broken fixtures, fittings and equipment where possible.
- Complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating and minor electrical tasks (where qualified and appropriate).
- Repair or replace shelving, furniture, doors, locks, handles and other fixtures.
- Assemble and install new furniture, equipment and displays.
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance to minimise future issues.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Keep maintenance records and report any major repairs requiring external contractors.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors when specialist repairs are required.
- Support new store openings, refurbishments and store improvement projects.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment in every location.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a handyman, facilities maintenance or property maintenance role.
- Practical skills across a range of trades, including basic plumbing, carpentry and decorating.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working alongside store teams.
- Ability to prioritise multiple maintenance requests across different locations.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Flexibility to travel between stores as required.
