Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Car Hire Valeter/Driver to join our team. This role involves ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for customer hire, as well as providing excellent customer service during the handing out and return process. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driving licence, experience in vehicle valeting or janitorial work, and a friendly approach to customer interactions. Responsibilities
- Valet and clean vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are presentable for customer hire
- Safely transport vehicles to and from designated locations, including customer sites and company premises
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles for any damage or maintenance issues and report findings accordingly
- Assist customers with vehicle handovers, providing clear information about vehicle features and usage instructions
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle storage areas and company premises
- Ensure all vehicles are parked securely and organised efficiently within the yard or designated parking areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations during vehicle movement and cleaning procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting, janitorial work, or similar roles is desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time during busy periods
- Good organisational skills to maintain vehicle cleanliness and yard organisation
- Physical ability to handle cleaning tasks and move vehicles safely around the premises
