The Service Manager Assistant has a unique opportunity to work in the fast-growing Snelling service department, with a focus on sales of our suite of support services, licenses, and remote monitoring deployments. This role is ideal for a candidate who is interested in gaining experience in both customer service and sales, as well as who is excited by the key mission of increasing the revenue and scope of the department within the company. This role also offers flexibility through occasionally supporting the helpdesk function of the department when holiday cover requires it, putting you in front of our most valuable customers.
In this role, you will work alongside, and be mentored by the Service Manager, assisting with renewal and new service sales, as well as reporting and account management tasks for our existing high-profile customers.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, as well as an innovative approach to sales projects and opportunities. As part of our team, we will always work with a degree of urgency to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Creating insightful service performance reports for key customers.
- Quoting for and tracking of support requests, support licenses and support renewals.
- Undertaking of continuous improvement tasks for the service sales department.
- Shadowing Service Manager in customer meetings to progress follow-up actions.
- Producing detailed reporting on preventative maintenance activities for key managed customers.
- Coordinating cross-department projects for service improvement tasks, sales requests, and support enquiries.
- Responding to requests for support via email, phone and tickets (for service desk cover).
- Feeding back to customers following reactive and scheduled service works.

Qualifications & Training
Essential
- At least 5 GCSE including Maths & English
- Excellent command of English grammar and spelling

- Experience using computers and computer applications such as MS Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.

- Work experience in a sales and / or service role
