Banbury Cross Nursery is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our friendly and longstanding team.
This is an evening position, working 3-4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with a flexible start time from 5:30pm onwards.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. This is a physical role that involves working independently and taking responsibility for cleaning the entire nursery building to an excellent standard.
Duties include:
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Cleaning and sanitising children's changing areas
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
- Ensuring all areas of the nursery remain clean, safe and hygienic

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- Takes pride in their work and maintains high standards
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Has previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
Additional Information
As this position is within a childcare setting, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG check.
