Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary
- Support other kitchen staff with various tasks, including plating, garnishing, and portion control
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency during service hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or working within a professional kitchen environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
- Prior restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
