Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable janitorial experience while contributing to our commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to meet high cleanliness standards
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a tidy workspace during and after each shift to uphold our high standards of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, or floor scrubbers effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
