Senior Social Content Producer
Location: Manchester – office and location-based
Salary: £37,000–£40,000, with room for progression

The role
We are looking for an experienced, video-led Senior Social Content Producer to take ownership of filming, photography, and editing across our social channels.
This is not a general social media or marketing position. We need someone who is already highly capable at creating professional, social-first content and can demonstrate this through a strong commercial portfolio.
You must understand hooks, pacing, storytelling, platform trends, and what makes content perform. You should be able to take an idea from concept through filming, direction, editing, and final delivery without requiring constant instruction.
You will film at our Manchester office and studio, as well as at salons, skin clinics, training academies, events, and other professional locations. This access provides the opportunity to produce credible, educational, and visually distinctive content that competitors cannot easily replicate.
Key responsibilities
- Develop original concepts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, paid social, and other digital channels
- Film and edit high-quality, fast-paced social video
- Create strong hooks and structure content to hold attention
- Direct staff, creators, models, professionals, and customers during shoots
- Capture high-quality product, lifestyle, treatment, event, and behind-the-scenes photography
- Plan and lead content days at salons, skin clinics, academies, and events
- Turn each shoot into multiple pieces of content for different platforms, audiences, and objectives
- Produce organic, paid, educational, product-led, and professional-facing content
- Work with the wider social and marketing teams on campaigns, launches, trends, and commercial priorities
- Maintain a consistent and recognisable visual identity
- Manage footage, editing workflows, and the content production pipeline
- Review performance and use the results to improve future creative
- Identify new formats, locations, collaborations, and content opportunities
- Support and provide creative direction to junior members of the social team
Experience required
- At least four years’ relevant experience in video production, social content, or a closely related creative role
- A strong portfolio of commercial content that you personally filmed and edited
- Advanced video editing skills using professional editing software
- Proven experience producing content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid-social advertising
- Strong photography skills, particularly involving products and people
- Experience planning and independently leading content shoots
- Confidence directing people who may not be experienced on camera
- A strong understanding of hooks, pacing, storytelling, captions, trends, and audience retention
- Experience working within a fast-moving consumer brand, creative agency, production company, or similarly commercial environment
- The ability to produce content that is visually strong while still serving a clear commercial purpose
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage several shoots, edits, and deadlines simultaneously
Experience within beauty, skincare, aesthetics, salons, fashion, wellness, or another visually led consumer industry would be an advantage.
