We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Herdsperson / Calf Rearer to join our progressive 400-cow, spring-calving, grass-based dairy farm, which relocates from Staffordshire to Wormleighton Grange Farm, Warwickshire in September 2026. Working as part of a four-person team, you will help support and improve herd and youngstock performance.
About the Farm
A progressive 400-cow, grass-based dairy herd focused on efficient milk production, high animal-welfare standards, modern facilities, and continuous improvement.
The Role
You will be involved in all areas of the dairy operation, including:
Milking and all aspects of calf rearing and youngstock management
Grazing youngstock
Monitoring youngstock health and performance
Tractor work and general farm maintenance
Record keeping and medicine recording
About You
We are looking for someone with:
Practical dairy farming and youngstock experience
Excellent stockmanship and strong attention to detail
Full UK driving licence and a telehandler licence
An organised, reliable and self-motivated approach
A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
Confidence operating farm machinery
A desire to build a long-term career in a progressive dairy business

Competitive salary £35k, based on experience
Accommodation 1 bed annexe on farm
11 days on / 3 days off rota, with every other weekend off and a weekday off before your working weekend
