CNC/NC Profile Burner/Gas Burner Operator

Salary: £16.18 per hour | Full-time, Dayshift | Overtime Available
Renown Group, a leading precision engineering company specializing in defence, offshore energy, and marine sectors, has an immediate opening for a skilled CNC/NC Profile Burner/Gas Burner Operative.
What You’ll Do:
· Program, set, and cut plates of varying thicknesses using in-house software (training provided).
· Select appropriate plate grades/thicknesses in collaboration with the stock controller.
· Load materials using overhead cranes.
· Perform profile burning, weld prep, and deburring.
· Conduct routine machine maintenance and support general workshop tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
· Experience with grinding/blending tools on metal surfaces.
· Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
· Proficiency with overhead cranes and adherence to safety protocols.
Desirable (Not Essential):
· Forklift license.
· First Aid training.
