Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Brunch Chef to join our vibrant team in Huddersfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious brunch dishes, possess strong leadership skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Operations from 9am-5pm, positions available for 3 days and 4 days a week.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of brunch dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production
- Manage food safety standards and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
- Oversee food presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing and served promptly
- Assist in menu planning and development of new brunch offerings
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring all guests receive excellent service during their visit
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Excellent culinary skills with a flair for creating innovative brunch dishes
- Previous restaurant experience is essential, ideally with a focus on breakfast or brunch menus
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Experience in serving guests and maintaining high standards of hospitality is desirable
