Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within designated markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst identifying new prospects through targeted outreach and networking.
- Lead negotiations and close deals effectively, ensuring mutual benefit for clients and the organisation.
- Analyse market data, competitor activities, and industry trends to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Manage sales pipelines using Salesforce or similar CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
- Provide leadership within the sales team by mentoring junior staff, sharing best practices, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Prepare compelling presentations and proposals that clearly communicate value propositions aligned with client needs.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring sales teams.
- Proficiency in analysing market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Extensive utilisation of Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms for pipeline management and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
- Familiarity with industry-specific trends and an understanding of how to leverage analysis skills for business growth.
