Jered - Marine system Technology, a PAR Company, focuses on providing global naval marine customers with complex naval marine door systems, hatches and cutting-edge fire-resistant panel systems.
We are seeking a skilled General Manufacturing Operative to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities include
- Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
- Assembly of components to engineering drawings.
- Assist with possible engineering issues in various states of manufacturing.
- Maintain quality on all products whilst performing daily tasks. Ensure that equipment and work areas are maintained in good and safe working condition in line with 5s.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment - In house training is provided.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions and convey requirements to the relevant personnel.
Qualifications/Experience
- Hands on experience of tools (DIY) etc: Drills, Screwdrivers, Saws.
- Ideally some experience of working in a manufacturing or quality controlled environment
- Experience of following procedures/processes
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Willingness to train in other skills within the company
This is a full time, permanent position based on-site in Winsford..
