We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, primarily sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Conduct basic measurements and calculations to ensure proper fit and alignment of parts.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into final products or structures as required.
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding with experience in welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural steel.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Experience with assembly processes is desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
