We are seeking a proactive and creative communications professional to lead on research communications across LNWH. This role will sit within the Communications Team with a dotted line relationship to the Research and Innovation (R&I) service supporting the North West London Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC). The post-holder will lead the delivery of a coordinated research communications programme in raising the profile of research activity, supporting engagement with staff, patients and external stakeholders and ensuring our research activity is communicated effectively across all channels.
You will be responsible for promoting the newly established North West London Commercial Research Delivery Centre, including supporting the CRDC hub and spoke meetings to ensure information is shared across the six organisations. This includes responsibility for developing and maintaining information for the CRDC microsite on the LNWH website ensuring content is accurate and accessible.
This role is offered on a part time basis (26.25 hours per week) as a Fixed Term Contract (or secondment) for two years.
Support the communications activity of the Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) across a range of channels and platforms.
Support the development and delivery of a research communications plan aligned with LNWH’s communications strategy.
Champion research as a core part of LNWH’s narrative, ensuring visibility across internal and external channels.
Collaborate with R&I leadership and the Communications team to integrate research messages into Trust-wide campaigns.
Develop and maintain a forward-planning communications calendar aligned to key research campaigns and awareness days
Manage and update research content on LNWH’s website and intranet, ensuring compliance with accessibility and NIHR guidelines.
Manage and develop public-facing research content across the Trust website, including study listings, participant information and the Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) profile pages.
work with the LNWH media manager, stakeholder manager social media officer to distribute content in a coordinated way that maximises reach in accordance with good editorial planning principles
Translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences
