Job Description
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, flexible individual to join our expanding maintenance team. Your role will include a mix of commercial cleaning including reach and wash window cleaning (Nationally).
Maintenance/cleaning will be at the following types of establishments:
Schools, retail parks, apartment blocks and business park developments.
You will also be responsible for:
- Inspecting projects and reporting on all issues that are found on site.
- Following a job specification and executing it to the client’s satisfaction.
- Liaising with clients when on site to ensure their approval.
- Maintaining equipment and vans.
- Conducting works at height using a MEWP and/or working platforms.
- To maintain safe workplace practice and procedures in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety legislation
Essential Requirements:
- A full UK driving license
- Comfortable with long hours and travel times
- Flexibility with working hours and willing to work weekends
Desirable:
- Health and Safety qualification
- IPAF certified
- PASMA Certified
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Skills and knowledge in at least one construction trade
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Highly organised
Please note that a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required upon acceptance of this position.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - although a degree of flexibility will be required due to the nature of the business. Overtime is agreed in advance at increased rates of pay.
In return the successful applicant will receive a salary of £13.50-£14.50 per hour depending on skill set and experience. This will include the use of the company vehicle after a qualifying period.
