Full-Time Retail Sales Assistant
Location: London
Hours: Full-Time including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, delivering excellent customer service, and being part of a busy retail environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Laird hatters is an independent Hat company with stores in London, Cambridge & Oxford. With over 19 years experience in hat & cap production including UK sewing rooms and factories. We are a family run business with a passion for headwear and clothing and providing a personal customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
- Assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases.
- Operating the till and handling cash/card transactions accurately.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented.
- Receiving and checking deliveries.
- Helping to achieve store sales targets.
- Following all company policies, including health and safety procedures.
The ideal Candidate:
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable. Experience in the hat industry is not essential , as full training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
- A smart and professional appearance.
