Mental Health Support Worker (Leicester & Leicestershire)
Blue Arch Homecare is looking for skilled, reliable, and experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team in Leicester. We are seeking individuals who are confident and competent in supporting people living with mental health conditions, including those who may present with challenging behaviours.

Duties:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals living with mental health conditions, including those who may present with challenging behaviours
- Support service users with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication, meal preparation, daily routines, and community access
- Follow and implement individualised support plans accurately
- Use de-escalation and positive behaviour support approaches to keep service users safe and supported
- Communicate effectively with service users, families and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate notes and records through our electronic care system
- Attend training sessions and contribute to team meetings
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting service users with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours is essential
- Full UK working rights – we are not able to offer sponsorship
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
- Solid understanding of support plans and safe care delivery
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently with confidence
- A genuinely caring, supportive attitude
- Flexibility to work any shift we place you on, as required to meet the needs of the business
You could be working:
- Days: 09:00–15:00
- Evenings: 15:00–20:30
- Nights: 20:30–09:00
Weekend availability is required to ensure continuity of care for the people we support.
