We are seeking an outstanding Senior Sous Chef with proven Michelin kitchen experience to join an ambitious and fast-growing hospitality group.
This role is designed for a chef who has been trained in a Michelin-starred environment, has worked alongside some of the industry’s most respected chefs, and is ready to take the next major step in their career.
You will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to develop menus, launch new concepts, mentor kitchen teams, and help shape the future direction of a growing restaurant group.
For the right individual, this role offers a genuine pathway to Head Chef and ultimately Executive Chef.

Essential Requirements Michelin Kitchen Experience – Essential
Applicants must have:
- Experience working within a Michelin-starred kitchen or equivalent fine-dining environment.
- Been professionally trained by Michelin-starred chefs.
- A proven understanding of Michelin-level standards, discipline, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Experience operating within high-performance kitchen brigades.
Applications without Michelin or equivalent fine-dining training will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations.
- Deliver exceptional food quality and consistency at all times.
- Lead service and kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence.
- Assist in menu development, innovation, and seasonal changes.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs.
- Maintain Michelin-level standards across all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Manage stock control, food costs, ordering, and waste reduction.
- Contribute to future restaurant launches and new brand development.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Senior Sous Chef or high-performing Sous Chef ready for promotion.
- Michelin-trained with strong references from recognised chefs and operators.
- Exceptional technical cooking skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Passion for mentoring and developing future talent.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of profitable kitchen operations.
- Ambition to progress into a Head Chef position within the next 12–24 months.
- Desire to help build a growing hospitality group rather than simply work within one.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
