Barnshaws Plate Bending has an opportunity for a Trainee Contracts Engineer to join our team based at Anchor Lane, Coseley, West Midlands, WV14 9NE
Established in 1969, we specialize in bending and curving of all types of metals and alloys for 55 years. We provide Section Bending, Press Braking, Plate Rolling, Hot Heavy Plate forming, Welding, Plasma & Laser cutting services.
Key responsibilities:-
· Producing development drawings using AutoCAD, to assist purchasing with material requirements
· Producing working instructions to job cards
· Laising with customers with sales orders
. General contracting of sales orders
Required Experience:-
·Previous experience working in the steel industry
. Experience using AutoCAD
. Ability to read engineering drawings
.
Package:-
· Competitive Salary depending on experience
. £25,000 to £35,000 PA OTE
· 32 Days holiday

Working Hours:-
· Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm with 30 minutes lunch
· Friday 8.00am – 1.00 pm with no lunch
