Commis Chef – Full Time
Are you passionate about food and looking to start or develop your career in the kitchen?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our friendly kitchen team at The Crown.
Previous experience is welcome but not essential — we are much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude. Full training and support will be provided.
You’ll work alongside our experienced chefs, learning new skills while helping us deliver fresh, quality food using fantastic local ingredients.
The role will include:
- Preparing ingredients and dishes for service
- Learning different sections of the kitchen
- Supporting chefs during busy services
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Working as part of a positive, supportive team
We’re looking for someone who is:

This role would suit someone looking to begin their career as a chef, a kitchen assistant ready for the next step, or someone with hospitality experience who wants to develop their skills.
