Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in recording financial transactions accurately using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Help maintain organized financial records, including receipts, invoices, and bank statements
- Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies or errors
- Learn to generate basic financial reports and summaries to support business decision-making
- Participate in daily bookkeeping activities under supervision, gaining practical experience in managing accounts
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Will be expected to attend Bridgend College outside of working hours
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; a strong interest in finance or accounting is preferred
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with common accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions diligently
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude are highly valued
