We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team on a temporary 1-month contract over the busy festival period, working 40 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of Edinburgh’s independent breweries, with the potential for the role to develop into a permanent full-time position.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering our beer to pubs, bars, restaurants, and customers across Edinburgh and beyond, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, professionally, and on time. As a key representative of the brewery, you'll play an important role in maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver beer and brewery products to trade and retail customers.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Handle and move kegs weighing 40kg+.
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the Pilot Brewery brand positively.
- Assist with warehouse and brewery logistics when required.
What We're Looking For
- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
- Ability to safely lift and manoeuvre 40kg+ kegs on a regular basis.
- Good level of physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised.
- Friendly and professional approach with customers.
- Previous delivery driving experience is desirable but not essential.
