About the Stocker Role
Our Stockers keep the store looking sharp and fully stocked from open to close. It's hands-on, fast-paced and genuinely satisfying work.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading deliveries and moving stock from the back of house to the shop floor
- Replenishing shelves, displays, and end caps throughout the day
- Rotating stock using FIFO (first in, first out) to keep products fresh
- Checking dates, condition, and pricing on incoming and existing stock
- Assisting with stock counts, audits, and inventory checks
- Keeping stockrooms organised, tidy, and safe to work in
- Breaking down cardboard and handling waste in line with store procedures
- Supporting colleagues on the shop floor when customers need a hand
What We're Looking For in a Stocker
No previous stocker experience needed — full training provided from day one. You'll thrive in this role if you're:
- Reliable, punctual, and take pride in a well-stocked, well-presented store
- Physically comfortable with lifting, bending, and being on your feet for full shifts
- Organised and methodical, with a good eye for detail
- Happy working early mornings or late evenings when deliveries land
- A team player who can also crack on independently
- Comfortable using handheld scanners and basic stock systems (training given)
Hours and Contract
- Contract type: Full-time stocker position
- Shifts: Early mornings, daytime, and evening shifts across the week
- Weekends: Required on a rota basis — full details at interview
