Kingfisher Midlands is the local face of Direct Seafoods, part of the Bidfresh Group. We supply high-quality fresh, frozen and chilled seafood to chefs, caterers, restaurants, hotels and hospitality customers across the region.
We are growing and looking for a positive, driven Business Development Manager to help us keep moving forward. If you enjoy building relationships, spotting opportunities and getting out to meet customers, this could be a great move. Catering or seafood experience would be a bonus, but attitude comes first — we can teach the rest.
The Role:
This is a busy, varied role split between the office and customer visits. You will manage and grow a territory, develop existing accounts and win new business by promoting our fantastic seafood range.
You will build your pipeline, plan visits, follow up leads, keep your prospect database up to date and work closely with our office, sales and depot teams to deliver a brilliant service.
You will be comfortable working to targets, talking confidently about products and finding practical solutions for customers. We want someone flexible, proactive and commercially switched on.
What we are looking for:
Above all, we want a positive attitude. You will be organised, self-motivated, friendly, confident with customers and happy to get stuck in. Strong communication, planning and time management skills are essential. Experience in catering, foodservice, hospitality or seafood would be ideal, but we are just as interested in people who are hungry to learn and ready to put the work in.

Pay: £30,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
