FRUU is a London-based cosmetics company that transforms rescued fruit and food byproducts into natural, vegan personal-care products. Founded in 2017, we formulate, design and manufacture our products in-house at our London facility.
Our products are stocked by Boots, John Lewis and more than 100 independent retailers across the UK.
We are a small business that moves quickly and makes physical products from start to finish.
About the role
This is a practical and varied position working closely with the founders across production, fulfilment, content, wholesale support and day-to-day operations.
Production and fulfilment are substantial parts of the job. During a large retail order, several consecutive days may be spent weighing, filling, labelling, packing and dispatching products. At other times, you may be photographing products, creating short-form video, preparing wholesale samples or updating e-commerce information.
This role is suitable for someone who genuinely enjoys both practical work and creative or administrative work. It is not a predominantly social-media or marketing position.
Main responsibilities
- Manufacture small-batch cosmetics, including weighing, mixing, filling and labelling. Full training will be provided.
- Complete production and quality-control records accurately.
- Pick, pack and dispatch retail, wholesale and online orders.
- Maintain clean, organised and hygienic production and studio areas.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock counts.
- Photograph products and create short-form content for TikTok and Instagram.
- Assist with TikTok Shop, Shopify and other e-commerce activity.
- Prepare samples and information for wholesale prospects and existing stockists.
- Update prospect lists and customer records.
- Represent FRUU at occasional markets, pop-ups and trade shows.
- Support general administration, data entry and email activity.
What we are looking for

- Works well in a small, hands-on team.
Helpful but not essential
- Experience in cosmetics, beauty, food production, manufacturing, fulfilment or another practical working environment.
- Basic photography or video skills.
- Experience with Canva, Shopify, TikTok Shop or Google Workspace.
- An interest in cosmetics, sustainability or product manufacturing.
- Confidence using AI tools responsibly for content, research or administration.
