Activity/Sports Lead

Your responsibilities will include:
- Registration keeping of attendees
- Leading fun and engaging activities for children aged 5 to 13
- Ensuring adherence to safeguarding, behaviour, and activity policies
- Delivering pre-prepared meals at lunch and packing away
- Set-up and set-down of activities
- Resolving student conflicts in line with the behaviour policy
- Organising and preparing activity resources for children's participation
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Ensuring all students are involved
- Reaching out to parents that have not collected their child
Here are some things that will help you stand out:
- PGCSE/PGCSE NQT Primary/Secondary in any subject
- Level 2/3 childcare or Sports Coaching qualification, or relevant experience
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certification
- Supervisory and Management experience
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Food hygiene experience

Enhanced DBS
An enhanced DBS check is required as part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013, and 2020.
