Roles & Responsibilities-
· Review business and technical requirements to develop effective testing strategies.
· Design, prepare, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios.
· Evaluate software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
· Record, prioritise, and monitor software defects, working closely with developers to achieve timely resolution.
· Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Validate software enhancements and confirm that implemented fixes meet business and technical requirements.
· Maintain accurate testing documentation, including test results, defect logs, and quality reports.
· Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to ensure software meets agreed quality standards.
· Assist in improving testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and release procedures.
· Ensure software products are reliable, secure, and fit for deployment by adhering to organisational quality standards.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required-
· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· Experience as a Software Tester, QA Analyst, or in a similar role.
· Knowledge of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
· Experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools.
· Understanding of automated testing tools would be an advantage.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Good communication and documentation skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
