Safeguarding
Promote Welfare: To promote the safety and well-being of all pupils, ensuring a secure and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain an attitude of "it could happen here" regarding child protection, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding promptly and appropriately to disclosures or concerns.
Report Concerns: To be vigilant to the signs of abuse and neglect, and to report any concerns immediately and confidentially to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Compliance: To read, understand, and strictly adhere to all school safeguarding policies, child protection procedures, and the staff code of conduct.
Ensure that all safeguarding procedures, including online safety protocols and health and safety regulations, are actively implemented and modelled.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of concerns in line with the school's GDPR and data protection policies.
Training: To engage fully in all required safeguarding and child protection training to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
Duties
To lead, manage, and be accountable for delivering and developing the maths curriculum throughout Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 in order to achieve the highest possible standards of pupil progress and attainment.
To be accountable for student progress so that each individual learner achieves their optimum level in maths and ensuring that effective strategies are in place to further raise standards of student progress and achievement.
To ensure the provision of an ambitious, broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum which is carefully planned and sequenced.
Must have Qualified Teacher Status.
